Job Title: Financial Aid ProcessorDepartment: Student Financial ServicesReports To: Director of Student Financial Services Job Type: This is a full time, non exempt position.General Description:The Financial Aid Processor provides financial services for students, oversees the disbursement of all aid to student accounts, and supports the Office of Student Financial Service in various tasks.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in maintaining all student financial aid files by reviewing aid eligibility and processing disbursements of all aid types to student accountsIdentify methods of disbursing aid in accordance with federal, state, and institutional guidelines or regulationsWeekly, monthly, and yearly reconciliation of aid fundsServe as primary point of contact and provides financial services for both current and prospective students and familiesCounsel students and families regarding all financing possibilities, processing steps, payment options, and account statusAssist in developing various information materials: letters, forms, websites, and presentationsOther duties as assignedPosition Requirements:Position Requirements:Education & Experience: Applicants with experience in higher education may be given priority but there are no education/experience requirements to apply for this position.Knowledge, Abilities & Skills:Excellent attention to detail
