Williams College seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Conflict Resolution Specialist to join the PEACe office.
About the Position
This is a two- to three-year term appointment with some evening and weekend hours required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive intimate violence prevention plan, working collaboratively with the Director of PEACe.
- Provide confidential resource referral and advocacy support to students.
- Maintain and support relationships with existing student organizations, coordinate programming with student groups.
- Develop and disseminate digital and print education materials for students, including workshops, events, and tabling.
- Manage the student peer educator program, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with peer education or peer leadership, health promotion activities, workshop facilitation, or curriculum/training development.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including culturally aware and responsive training.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
