We are seeking a Temporary Waitstaff to join our Dining Services team at Williams College. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in customer service and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
The Temporary Waitstaff will be responsible for operating the cash register, passing hors d'oeuvres, and providing excellent service to our guests. You will work under the supervision of the Assistant Manager of the Faculty House and Special Events and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. Additional responsibilities include clearing tables efficiently, assisting with post-service tasks, and handling items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a passion for customer service. You must be able to build positive relationships with both customers and staff and have a commitment to delivering the highest level of professional guest service. Experience in waitstaff roles, cash handling, catering, or high-end restaurant service is preferred, but not required. You should also be able to lift 40 lbs.
