Dining Services at Williams College is dedicated to providing exceptional service and cuisine to our students, faculty, and staff. Our team is passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests and we are seeking a Temporary Waitstaff to join our team.
About the Job:
The Temporary Waitstaff will work under the supervision of the Assistant Manager of the Faculty House and Special Events and will be responsible for operating the cash register, passing hors d'oeuvres, and providing excellent service to our guests. Additional responsibilities include clearing tables efficiently, assisting with post-service tasks, and handling items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a passion for customer service. You must be able to build positive relationships with both customers and staff and have a commitment to delivering the highest level of professional guest service. Experience in waitstaff roles, cash handling, catering, or high-end restaurant service is preferred, but not required. You should also be able to lift 40 lbs.
