The Process Safety Management Coordinator is responsible for implementing, coordinating and supervising the elements of process safety management (PSM) and risk management plan (RMP) program activities to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. This role will use prior experience and knowledge of standard industry practices to evaluate a wide range of process safety information, while problem solving and collaborating with our business partners. Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Collaborates with our business partners to assist in meeting their PSM and RMP responsibilities, preparing for Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) and conducting quality reviews and quality assurance activities
- Participates in OSHA, EPA and RMP audits
- Leads the operating areas in preparing for revalidation PHAs
- Maintains, coordinates and organizes process safety information and data
- Runs PHA action item process and close out
- Assists operations in our annual review and certification of operating procedures
- Facilitates incident investigations
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
PSM Coordinator II:
- Required: High School diploma/GED; a minimum two (2) years’ experience in Process Safety Management with a minimum of three (3) years of energy experience; PHA Training and Certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
PSM Coordinator III:
- Required: High School diploma/GED; a minimum five (5) years’ experience in Process Safety Management, a minimum of eight (8) years of energy experience and PHA Training and Certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Understanding of OSHA Process Safety Management
- Experience as a member of a PHA/HAZOP Team
Hourly/Salary Guidelines:

$76,200 - $124,200 - $152,900
