As SCADA Analyst IV, you will collaborate with business partners to identify requirements, and translate those into SCADA system requirements and logical/functional designs for SCADA solutions. Maintaining focus on continuous improvement and implementing lean processes will improve performance and safety. The ability to tackle sophisticated problems and collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization are keys to success!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Leads data polling and acquisition processes to ensure timely and accurate data collection from various sources
- Optimizes polling intervals and methods to balance data freshness with system performance
- Monitors and troubleshoots telecommunications systems to ensure reliable data transmission
- Implements edge polling solutions to reduce latency and improve data processing efficiency
- Applies MQTT protocol for lightweight, efficient messaging in IoT and SCADA systems
- Integrates data from multiple sources, including SCADA systems, into a unified data platform
- Analyzes and visualizes data to support decision-making and operational improvements
- Applies cybersecurity principles and practices to protect data integrity and system security
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
- Required: Bachelor's degree, a minimum of eight (8) years' experience in a SCADA or team leadership role and experience with ClearSCADA, AutoSol, Kepware and OPC protocol
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Demonstrates knowledge of network operations and telecommunications
- Possesses extensive SQL experience and capabilities
- Possesses demonstrable understanding of various Flow Computer Protocols
- Experience in the energy industry
- Preferred: Windows programming experience (Python, VBScript, Ladder Logic)
- Preferred: Experience in database development and management
