Williams & Connolly LLP has an available position for an Operations Supervisor. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the mail room and the print/copy center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The position is onsite and hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with extended hours needed on a regular basis. This is an exempt position. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000. The final offer amount is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, education, and other relevant skills and qualifications. - Mentoring, supervising and developing the growth for operations clerks, print services clerks and leads;
- Assigning duties and ensuring timely, efficient operations;
- Responding to customer questions and resolving any issues regarding the day-to-day department activities;
- Monitoring email traffic for the department to ensure timely responses;
- Identifying and investigating repeat issues, processes and tasks and building systems and solutions that create efficiency and eliminate problems;
- Troubleshooting and contacting the appropriate vendor to repair department equipment;
- Ensuring that courier, FedEx and UPS reports are reviewed daily for undeliverable/delayed packages and for prompt notification to senders;
- Ensuring that print and copy jobs are completed in the manner prescribed and by the due time requested;
- Coordinating new employee training and staff refresher training on department equipment and procedures;
- Ensuring communication between leads and other operations staff is maintained as well as ensuring communication with staff on firm events is timely; and
- Provide timely feedback to the Operations Manager on day-to-day issues and provide ideas for department improvements.
