Williams Construction Company, an established and growing industrial general contractor, celebrating its 72nd year in business, is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our company. Our company performs critical and complex construction and maintenance projects at industrial facilities in Northeast Oklahoma. Primary Responsibility:
Your primary responsibility is to control safety, time, cost and quality of construction projects. Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including limited estimating responsibility, job site budgeting controls, subcontract management, jobsite safety, jobsite quality control and working with owners, engineers, architects and vendors.
Starting salary based on experience. Company vehicle provided. Year-end bonus plan. Full benefits package including 401K, family medical paid 100%, paid vacation/personal time off and 7 paid holidays. Must be willing to undergo background evaluation and drug test evaluation.

Primary Responsibility:
Your primary responsibility is to control safety, time, cost and quality of construction projects. Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including limited estimating responsibility, job site budgeting controls, subcontract management, jobsite safety, jobsite quality control and working with owners, engineers, architects and vendors.
- Perform daily inspections of work at the project to ensure all work is in compliance with construction documents.
- Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others. Investigates safety incidents and assist in retraining of staff as needed.
- Provides management of subcontractors and organization of the overall job and workflow.
- Manages and oversees company staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs such as Safety, Quality and EEOC for the project.
- Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
- Creates, manages, changes and implements the project’s schedule as needed, in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- responsible for tracking and monitoring project budget and costs by using the project management system’s cost reports and data from the project manager.
- Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Ensure the project site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
- Perform, in conjunction with Project Manager weekly project work coordination meetings with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers.
- Open the jobsite at the beginning of the workday and secure the jobsite at the end of the workday.
- Utilizes awareness, experience and knowledge to identify problems and recommends solutions for review and implementation by the team.
- Assumes responsibility for management, scheduling, production, quality and safety on projects or a portion of projects.

- Good with numbers, able to provide quality leadership in preparing cost projections and assisting in pricing change order work in conjunction with Project Manager.
- Have the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Degree level education Preferred but not required, based on experience (Construction Science, Construction, Engineering).
- 5 Years Construction
- Broad experience in manufacturing and heavy industry sectors.
