WCLLC is seeking an experienced Medical Care Program Supervisor to provide technical, management, client leadership, and resource allocation. The candidate must have the ability to conceptualize problems, design and implement appropriate methods, manage teams, and effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
The position will include serving as a technical lead for the project team, deliverables, and be able to apply policies in medical care, health care, health insurance, or federal or state entitlement programs for Medicaid eligibility determination services of Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) and Non-MAGI applications, renewals and interim changes.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Collaborate with the customer and internal/external stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
· Provide leadership, management, and coordination of planning, capacity-building, data collection, performance measurement, evaluation, quality assurance and control, contract administration, and accountability initiatives to reliably capture the impact and effectiveness of the program.
· Serve as mentor and point of contact for team members for project- and performance-related tasks.
· Develop client deliverable reports.
· Interact with client to understand program requirements, timelines, and resources available.
· Execute program management implementation plans for organizational processes and systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of strategy.
· Perform daily tracking and coordination of open issues and decisions and facilitate the follow-up across the team and agencies until resolution.
- Accurately interpret, analyze, and apply federal and State Medicaid regulations and policies when reviewing and verifying MAGI and Non-MAGI Medicaid applications, verifications, and data to render eligibility determinations.
- Accurately review and verify applications, income, asset, resource and financial verifications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to rendering an eligibility decision.
- Accurately determine customer eligibility including running clearances in the appropriate system of record for Non-MAGI and MAGI Medicaid.
- Respond to case inquiries from internal and external customers in accordance with the Department’s Customer Service standards.
- Ensure all data systems are updated timely and accurately including ensuring verifications are uploaded when applicable.
- Take appropriate actions to resolve data discrepancies that impact a recipient’s ability to obtain services and/or provide payment.
Qualifications and Experience
· B.A./B.S. degree in healthcare administration, public health, social science, or related field
· Minimum 10 years of overall experience
· 3 years technical and project management experience, including planning, organizing, staffing, reporting, coordinating, and directing all aspects of a project
· 3 years of direct supervisory people management responsibility in a project setting
· Customer account management and business development experience
· Advanced Google Suite and Office Suite skills
· Ability to navigate State data systems
· Ability to adapt to learning quickly, adapt to policy modifications and follow directions
· Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations is a plus
· Previous client collaboration experience
· Must be highly detail oriented with the ability to pivot to meet emerging needs
· Strong attention to detail, organization, and efficient time management
· Must demonstrate professionalism and a positive work ethic in all situations
· Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
· Excellent teamwork skills
· Background investigation required
