- Operate light and heavy machinery
- Conduct rough, finish, and fine grading for seedbed preparation
- Install and maintain trees, shrubs, and other landscaping elements
- Implement sediment control measures such as silt fences and erosion control blankets
- Manage invasive species through mechanical and chemical means
- Identify native and invasive plant species
- Assist in the establishment of green infrastructure like rain gardens and detention basins
- Proficiency in operating both light and heavy equipment
- Experience with grading and seedbed preparation techniques
- Knowledge of plant installation and landscaping practices
- Familiarity with sediment control and invasive species management
- Understanding of green infrastructure concepts
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions (rain, heat, cold)
- Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Previous experience in landscaping, agriculture, or equipment operations is advantageous, though not mandatory
