Description
Williams Form Engineering is looking for a technically trained, motivated individual to handle engineering sales related to the Wind Energy market for the United States. This position will be based out of one of our seven locations including Belmont, MI, Collegeville, PA, Lithia Springs, GA, Golden, CO, San Diego, CA, Portland, OR, or Wayne, NE.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understand and demonstrate Williams' products and services to our customer.
- Achieve and maintain good relationships with customers to give them the best possible service and encourage trust and loyalty.
- Process customer requests for price quotations.
- Perform material take offs from plans and specifications.
- Work with Sales Management/Purchasing as needed.
- Enter/update customer information and create quotes and orders in Epicor ERP.
- Manage orders by working with manufacturing management and communicating regularly with sales management regarding problems or issues impacting production or ship dates.
- Prepare paperwork for credits/debits.
- Travel throughout the U.S. visiting existing and potential new customers.
Qualifications:
- 4 Year College Degree in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, Business or similar).
- Typing skills and computer software knowledge such as Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in an ERP - Epicor preferred.
- Good organizational and learning skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively.
- Valid Drivers License and dependable transportation required
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
- Construction and/or Project Management experience is preferred.
