- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Maintain an organized and stocked checkout area, ensuring all products are displayed attractively.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist with pricing, discounts, and inventory management.
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the store and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions.
- Basic math skills for accurate pricing and inventory management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Willingness to learn everyday operation of a C-Store.
- A positive attitude, patience, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
