What are the responsibilities and job description for the Range Safety Officer position at Williams Gun Sight Company?
* Looking for Part-time Weekends only* MUST HAVE SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AVAILABILITY ****
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring public firearm ranges are operating in a safe manner
- Working with shooters on firearm safety and range procedures
- Providing a positive customer experience within Williams’ ranges and retail environment
- Maintain a clean firearm range and work environment
- Provide assistance with range maintenance which may require heavy lifting
Applicant Requirements/Skills
- Extensive firearm experience and Firearm safety knowledge is absolutely required
- Preferred to have concealed pistol permit and range safety experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Required to stand for long periods of time
- Heavy lifting may be required
Physical Demands
- Candidate must possess the physical requirements to perform activates listed above
- Candidate must be physically able to stand, walk, and/or sit for a period of time
- Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably
- Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time
