Williams Lea is hiring for an Art Director for our New York City office to work Monday to Friday 3:00 am to 11:00 pm!
Pay: $94,500 - 110,000/year

The Art Director works with the Creative Director to conceptualize all visual output for projects, establishing the visual language and setting the tone and animation style. This position helps to guide execution of all projects.
Job duties

- Conceptualize and execute high-quality visuals for commercials and other clients
- Conceive and design storyboards for pitches and for pre-visualizations
- Work with Creative Director and other designers to create and design high-caliber motion graphics and other visuals
- Bring forward new and unique ideas and approaches
- Design storyboards to develop visual style concepts
- Leverage deep design expertise to elevate client requests, translating their needs into compelling, branded creative outputs that align with their goals, even if not strictly following their initial specifications.
- Build strong client relationships, using effective communication and soft skills to establish trust and guide clients toward better design solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, helping clients move beyond content and focus on creating visually impactful and innovative designs that enhance their message.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Art, Design, or Animation
- 8 years’ experience in Art, Design & Animation
- Mastery of Adobe Suites Software
- Ability to prioritize under tight time constraints and to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Effective interpersonal skills across teams and when liaising with clients
- Understanding of Advertising business, conceptual creative process, idea explorations
- Knowledge of digital platforms, including online, mobile, tablets, and other emerging technologies
- Knowledge of designing for print and print formats
- Ownership of projects, with the ability to carry out projects from concept to delivery Understanding of narrative structure and storytelling
- Excellent communication skills
- Possession of superior presentation skills – both in creation and verbalization
