About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ASST. YARD FOREMAN to join our team in the Transportation and Warehousing industry. They will also be responsible for managing a team of yard workers, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to carry out their duties. The ASST. YARD FOREMAN will play a critical role in ensuring that our yard operations run smoothly and efficiently, and that our customers receive the highest level of service.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a yard or warehouse environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with forklift operation and maintenance
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
