Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to improve, grow, and elevate food service operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health Department regulations and company policies regarding food safety standards.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and enforce adherence to recipes and quality assurance standards among team members.
- Train and develop staff on food service operations, including proper food handling procedures and recipe execution.
- Manage daily prep lists, temperature logs, and other assigned tasks, delegating effectively to team members.
- Oversee all aspects of food ordering from vendors, including inventory management and cost control.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and collaborate on action plans to reduce inventory shrinkage.
- Occasionally assist with register operations, but primarily focus on kitchen operations.
- Prioritize urgency in food & beverage preparation to ensure timely service to customers.
- Ensure proper products are available on grab-and-go shelves at appropriate times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations, certification preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with inventory management and cost control techniques.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be upbeat, personable, and dedicated to creating a memorable customer experience.
- Currently ServSafe certified or willing to obtain certification within 3 months of employment.
