Williams Civil Construction () is hiring Operators to be part of our action-packed worksites including utilities and site development. We're looking for skilled individuals who can safely and efficiently operate a variety of equipment such as : blades, dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks, water trucks, etc.
What You’ll Do :
Safety is our top priority, and as an Operator, you'll be responsible for keeping a keen eye for hazards to keep yourself and the team out of harm's way
Operate a diverse range of heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, blades, haul trucks, water trucks, and dozers, for everything from precise excavation to smooth paving prep
Ensure safe slopes on excavations, proper barricading, and compliance with trenching and shoring standards.
Every day presents new challenges, but you'll tackle them head-on - whether it's troubleshooting equipment issues or adapting to changing site conditions, your ability to think on your feet will be invaluable
Travel from interstate highway to rural dirt roads from various locations
What You Bring :
2 Years Operating Experience – Excavator / Loader / Dozer / Blade
Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations
Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards, aggregate sizes and classifications, and weight requirements of loads leaving the pit
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write short correspondence
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
