Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic, customer-service oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Collections Specialist. This dual role will be integral in maintaining the smooth operation of our office while ensuring effective management of our accounts receivable.
Responsibilities Include:
- Reception:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service.
- Manage the front desk, including handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and greeting clients.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Collections:
- Contact clients to collect payments on overdue accounts.
- Negotiate payment arrangements with clients under the guidance of the Collections Specialist.
- Document all collection activities accurately in the company’s database.
- Prepare reports on collection activities and account statuses for management review.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receptionist, in collections, or in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of any collection software is a plus.
- High school diploma; further education or certification in office management, accounting, or related field is advantageous.
- Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
