We have developed an agile and capable distribution network consisting of:
- Large package / furniture distribution centers located in Southern California, Northern California, Texas, Georgia, and New Jersey totaling 9.2M square feet of standalone final-mile furniture hubs
- 2M square feet, consisting of over 1,000 full-time associates and 1,500 seasonal/temporary associates in Mississippi
- Sutter Street Manufacturing upholstery factories located in North Carolina and Mississippi totaling over 1,400 full-time employees producing approximately $900 million to $1 billion in sales of upholstered furniture
- Transportation Department for Ocean, Air, Trucking, and Rail consisting of over 30 transportation professionals located in Memphis, TN
The Senior Controls Engineer position involves:
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing PLC Control/Power Panels using AutoCAD
- Maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM's) for panel components and field devices
- Developing and documenting PLC programs from scratch for industrial control systems
- Implementing standard engineering practices, including parts sourcing and documentation
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in controls and automation
- Strong background in electrical control systems and automation
- Experience with Rockwell Software Studio5000 and Factory Talk View
- Proficient in commissioning conveyor parcel scanner systems
- Proven electrical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of industrial control systems protocol and networking principles
