Williams Tool Inc. is a family-owned and run local CNC Machine Shop that has been in business for over 50 years. Williams Tool specializes in the manufacturing of stainless-steel parts to meet customer specifications. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team for day shift (7:00am- 3:30pm). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and the ability to analyze processes and products effectively. The Quality Assurance Inspector will work closely with production teams to maintain quality standards and implement improvements. This role is ideal for those who are attentive to detail.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of first article, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gages, comparators, and microscopes to perform measurements and tests on products.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare reports on quality metrics.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests for traceability.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures and protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Micronite software for measurement analysis is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards is desirable.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments is essential.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to details.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments.
