Day in the Life
In this role, you will lead the operations and maintenance of Williams’ largest installation of horsepower and power distribution equipment. You will oversee or support a diverse team of skilled professionals, including shift operators, I&E technicians, technical specialists, and mechanics, to ensure the delivery of highly reliable power. As part of the local leadership team, you will be the main point of contact for internal and external support, customer interactions, and commercial communications for the New Albany Generation sites. You will champion enterprise collaboration, leveraging Williams’ extensive resources to drive operational excellence at the sites under your care.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Leads all aspects of safe operations and maintenance
- Provides leadership to formal leaders and individual contributors
- Holds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with operating requirements and standards
- Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for team members
- Develops expense plan and forecasts; conducts regular operating cost analysis to aid in the understanding and management of operating cost and budget performance
- Works closely with the existing leadership teams to plan and implement both short and long-range operational goals
- Ensures that a collaborative environment exists, and information is shared within and outside of the local operating group to drive continual improvement
- Serves as a contact point for business development, commercial development and operations
- Nurtures relationships with current and potential customers, the community and key constituents
- Promotes and sustains an open and transparent concern reporting and resolution culture
- Operates as a lead, subject matter specialist or change agent to support critical organization programs and initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: High school diploma/GED and a minimum ten (10) years experience relevant experience, including processing plant, gathering, NGL/Petchem and transmission pipeline experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Exhibits excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and deems safety an utmost priority
