As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist II, you will represent Williams in dealings with federal and state agencies. This role is responsible for interpreting regulations, working with applicable agencies and coordinating with management to ensure overall compliance success!

Day in the Life :
As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist for Pipeline Control Governance, you will develop, update, and ensure the control room management plan and its supporting documents, processes, training and records adhere to the latest company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standard methodologies. You'll collaborate with the pipeline control team to ensure processes are in compliance and optimally produce needed outcomes, identify and document process improvements and work with leadership to drive plans to completion. You'll facilitate the execution of annual workload studies initiatives and inspections.
In-depth analysis and required annual reviews can include : Alarm management and Controller training and control room management plans
Additional periodic reviews of various tasks, records, procedures, and processes can include : Change management, roles and responsibilities; Supervisory control & data acquisition; Process safety & compliance; Fatigue management; Leak detection
Responsibilities / Expectations :
- Coordinates and performs regulatory compliance activities as they pertain to gas pipeline safety rules and regulations
- Interprets regulations and coordinates with management to assure overall compliance success
- Participates in and / or makes technical presentations to management
- Assists with data gathering in preparation for regulatory inspections
- Develops and / or reviews processes and policy manuals related to pipeline safety
- Monitors and reviews company activities to assess level of compliance with existing and proposed federal, state, or industry legislation and regulations regarding pipeline safety
- Works with applicable agencies in the classification and certification of operating assets
- Other duties as assigned
