As an IT Business Systems Analyst IV, you will act as a liaison between IT and the business to ensure an understanding of business requirements when crafting and implementing new IT systems and improving existing systems. You will interact with others and resolve issues with IT support teams. We appreciate your new perspective on solutions for our ever-evolving IT needs!

Responsibilities / Expectations :

  • Leads collaboration with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize BI and data analytics requirements
  • Analyzes complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions
  • Designs and develops interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to address diverse business needs
  • Acts as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring alignment on analytics solutions
  • Ensures data accuracy and integrity by conducting thorough testing and validation of BI solutions
  • Develops and maintains a self-service BI framework, empowering end-users to explore data independently
  • Provides training and ongoing support to business users for BI tools and analytics platforms
  • Other duties as assigned

Education / Years of Experience :

  • Required : High school diploma or GED and a minimum fifteen (15) years' IT experience, OR Associate's degree and a minimum ten (10) years' IT experience, OR Bachelor's degree in IT-related field and a minimum eight (8) years' IT experience
  • Other Requirements :

  • Knowledge of managing the Power BI Fabric environment, including workspaces, dataflows, datasets, and permissions
  • Ability to configure, monitor, and maintain on-premises data gateways for seamless data refresh and secure data access
  • Proficiency in developing, deploying, and managing Power BI paginated reports (RDL files) for pixel-perfect reporting needs
  • Experience supporting integrations of third-party and internal applications that rely on embedded Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Knowledge in monitoring and managing Power BI capacities to optimize performance, ensuring service reliability and scalability
  • Understanding of implementing security best practices, including row-level security (RLS), data classification, and compliance standards
  • Ability to set up monitoring and alerts for Power BI service health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents promptly
  • Demonstrates outstanding organizational / interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
