As an Engineer Staff, you will apply your years of industry expertise and experience as you work independently on large-scale projects and anticipate business trends. You will collaborate with others to identify and develop innovative services or processes that address current and future customer needs and recommend improvements. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver presentations to leaders and may supervise team members in their work!

A Day in the Life :

In this role as a Reliability Engineer, your familiarity and expertise in equipment life cycles and reliability principles will be called upon to support Operations teams across Williams. The reliability engineering role at Williams is important as you will be passionate about failure prevention. You will work with maintenance teams across the company, collaborating to provide each other with data that results in improved maintenance protocols and fewer system and equipment failures. If you enjoy solving business problems through creative solutions and managing projects and programs, this role will be an ambitious and exciting experience at Williams.

Responsibilities / Expectations :

Analyzes equipment performance and provides recommendations to improve reliability

Develops and implements new maintenance and reliability procedures and processes

Participates in equipment-related Root Cause Analysis and Root Cause problem elimination exercises

Performs sophisticated technical tasks and leads teams in projects of major scope and complexity

Participates in the development and implementation of technical standards and specifications

Interprets technological aspects of business and coordinates with leaders to ensure success

Applies expertise, knowledge and experience from projects that positively impacts earnings

Collaborates with others to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs

Other duties as assigned

Education / Years of Experience :

Required : Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum fifteen (15) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry

Other Requirements :

Preferred : PE Certification

Preferred : Project Management experience

Preferred : Familiarity with ISO Standards and OREDA

Preferred : Experience with CMMS (Maximo), SQL, Power BI, Python

Able to work on engineering specialties covering more than one subject area

Sophisticated knowledge of the engineering workflow, project life cycle processes, and engineering design principles

Experience with operational data analysis and reporting

Demonstrates excellent organizational / interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
