What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Mgr Pipeline Control - Transco/Eastern Interstates position at Williams?
The Manager Pipeline Control Sr is responsible for the operational discipline and the safety of all controllers in their area. You will have a broad area of responsibility of assets and commodities. You will lead an integrated team focused on developing and practicing standards, process and procedures to safely supervise and control our assets and operations. Responsibilities / Expectations :
- Supervises team responsible for safely moving product across a vast infrastructure of pipelines while performing all work in accordance with requirements, standards, policies, procedures and processes
- Oversees maintenance coordination on system and outage scheduling
- Supports daily operations to improve control room effectiveness and defines operating conditions; coordinates with partners to ensure customer needs are met
- Maintains the integrity of data and systems
- Integral member of the Pipeline Control Leadership team, managing significant segments of operations (4 or more consoles) and providing dedicated 24 / 7 support, demonstrating a high level of responsibility, influence, and commitment
- Actively promotes and implements optimization strategies for efficient and safe pipeline usage, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with key commercial collaborators and customers
- Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for team
- Manages daily operations of a major interstate pipeline with peak rates
- Other duties as assigned
