As Technical Specialist Staff, you’ll serve as a subject matter specialist in your field. This role is responsible for developing and implementing operational standards and technical specifications, so attention to detail and safety are top priorities. It’s also a leadership role, required to coordinate the work of team members and leads presentations to management!
In this role, you will support the measurement facilities by analyzing deficiencies and proposing solutions. You will complete various projects using your expertise and collaborate with others to ensure safe and reliable operations. A typical day in this role would involve evaluating and mentoring colleagues, building relationships, and resolving issues related to measurement equipment malfunctions, volumetric imbalances, quality control, and measurement analysis. You will also perform internal inspections of meter tubes using electronic fiber scopes, mechanical micrometers, and calibers. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.

Responsibilities / Expectations :
- Performs tasks that safely ensure system integrity, support pipeline operations and maintain regulatory compliance and facility equipment
- Serves as subject matter specialist and leader in a specific technical field
- Develops and implements operational and / or technical standards and specifications
- Troubleshoots / resolves sophisticated problems using existing precedents / procedures
- Provides technical / operational mentorship
- Accounts for the technical aspect of the project plan and collaborates with company partners
- Drives development and tasks associated with operations, equipment maintenance, technical standards and / or governmental requirements
- Leads team projects of major scope or unusual complexity that has an impact on profitability
- Adheres to Company policies and safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
