What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Operations Analyst I,II position at Williams?
The Treasury Analyst II, you will play a meaningful role in supporting the day-to-day cash management activities for the company, its subsidiaries, and joint ventures, including short-term borrowing and investing, bank relations, SOX compliance, and cash forecasting. Responsibilities / Expectations :
- Analyzes daily cash needs and optimizes resources to provide liquidity, invests excess cash to maximize earnings or repay short term debt to reduce interest expenses
- Obtains short term borrowed funds in a timely manner and at an efficient cost, while efficiently administering Williams programs for liquidity & minimizing interest expense
- Reports cash balances to management daily, including providing timely and accurate reporting of interest accruals and expenses for recording in the financial records
- Generates and reports the 13-week cash forecast and key dashboards / metrics to management
- Resolves complex issues while serving as a liaison between the banking partners and functional areas (A / R, A / P, Tax, Benefits, Supply Chain, Land, etc.).
- Performs cash management key control activities in compliance with policy, procedures and SOX
- Other duties as assigned
