The Therapy Services Facilitator will serve as a liaison and advocate for students with disabilities within the school setting. This position requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including teachers, therapists, parents, and students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in establishing district-wide procedural guidance around provision of therapy services delivery.
- Provide ongoing feedback to the district's special education therapy team.
- Determine the ongoing needs of therapists and implement professional development to address those needs.
Qualifications
- Must have Master's degree in the field of related therapy field; valid South Carolina certificate.
- Must be licensed by the SC Labor and Licensing Board.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as a licensed therapist.
