K-12 General Education Summer School administrators' responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop program goals
- Communicate with school staff and families
- Hire staff
- Select and enroll students
- Design and implement organizational procedures to ensure safe and efficient daily operations, including student expectations, transportation, student and staff health, and food services
- Evaluate program effectiveness
The Summer School Principal must already possess an endorsement in K-12 supervision and administration.
