About the Position
The Virtual School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services to students enrolled in an online school setting. This includes conducting evaluations, supporting special education processes, and providing mental health support and consultation to students, staff, and families in a virtual environment.
Note: This position's responsibilities will primarily be done remotely. Additionally, this position may act as a Substitute or Guide for our in-person Adventures program, school club leader, or grading assistant during the school year.

1) Conduct Psychological and Educational Evaluations
Administer and interpret standardized assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Collaborate with special education teams to determine eligibility and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and communicate results to stakeholders in virtual meetings.
2) Deliver Mental Health Services and Interventions
Provide virtual individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and behavioral needs.
Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor student progress.
Support students in crisis by providing immediate virtual support and collaborating with external providers when necessary.
3) Develop & Monitor FBA & BIP Plans
Assist in developing and monitoring behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and functional behavior assessments (FBAs).
Serve as a key team member in eligibility and IEP meetings.
4) Collaborate and Consult with School Teams and Families
Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health.
Support staff with virtual strategies to address academic and social-emotional challenges.
Offer training and professional development on mental health, trauma-informed practices, and behavior support.
5) Maintain Compliance and Documentation
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
Utilize virtual platforms for data tracking, communication, and case management.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards.

- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in K–12 school settings (virtual or traditional)
- Proficiency with virtual assessment tools and platforms
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and MTSS/RTI frameworks
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships and deliver services in a remote setting
- Experience completing academic evaluations
- $80,000 - $90,000 annual salary
- Start date: July 15th, 2025
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday for 10 months, less hours during summer months
