Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle multi line phone system efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients as they arrive, providing a welcoming atmosphere, have knowledge of spa promotions, items in stock, and general spa information.
- Manage cash handling processes, including processing payments through the POS system and maintaining accurate cash register records.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and retail math as needed.
- Stock supplies and maintain an organized front desk area to ensure efficiency.
- Assist in upselling services or products to enhance client experience and drive sales.
- Handle inquiries via phone, email, or in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations throughout the facility
- Cross-training for daily operations of floats and sauna, including but not limited to cleaning and sanitizing, doing laundry, etc. as needed
- Assists the Spa Manager with inspection of all spa treatment rooms, reception, and common areas to ensure they exude the proper spa atmosphere, clean, orderly, and fully stocked, and other duties as assigned by the spa manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk role is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience using a POS system.
- Ability to promote products or services based on client needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and team building.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent personal appearance, punctuality, and good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating weekends and some holidays ( we are closed on major holidays)
