The Maintenance Department is looking to hire for 12 month, full-time night cleaner positions.
Start ASAP.
- Responsible for the care and cleanliness of the classrooms, corridors and grounds.
- Sweeps, mops and washes floors and stairs.
- Dusts desks, woodwork, furniture and other equipment.
- Washes windows, walls, blackboards, sinks, toilets and other fixtures.
- Polishes furniture and metal furnishings.
- Empties waste baskets, collects and disposes of rubbish.
- Set up and tear down of after-school activities.
- Carries out any other assigned duties and/or responsibilities by the Superintendent of Schools and the Board of Education.

Job Qualifications
- Good knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies and equipment and ability to use them efficiently and economically.
- Be very neat and thorough.
- Must be willing to follow oral and written instructions.
- Good moral character, personal cleanliness, courteous, neat, cooperative attitude, dependable and loyal, completely trustworthy and honest.
