Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment for surgical procedures
- Operate ultrasonic cleaners and instrument washers/disinfectors
- Assemble and package instruments and equipment according to central sterilization policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with the sterile processing team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous CSR experience required
- Certification as a Certified Central Service Technician (CCT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
- Ability to lift up to 250 pounds with assistance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
