Responsibilities:
- Perform TEE studies, stress echo studies, and use contrast
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and physicians
- Make appropriate judgment decisions in urgent or emergency situations
- Demonstrate emotional stability and psychological health
- Volunteer for overtime and fill-in when needed
- Perform high-quality studies consistently and follow pre-determined standards (protocols) and procedures
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and disease processes to accurately communicate patient pathology to Cardiologist
- Provide portable studies for patients when necessary
Requirements:
- Earned a degree/certificate from an accredited Echocardiography program
- Registered or registry eligible in Echocardiography
- Proficient in performing TEE studies, stress echo studies, and use of contrast
- At least two years of work experience after graduation preferred
