As a Registered Nurse in our pediatric emergency department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to children facing acute illnesses or injuries.
Responsibilities include working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to assess patients' needs, develop treatment plans, and communicate effectively with patients and their families. You will also be responsible for maintaining hospital and unit-specific competencies, ensuring seamless transitions of care, and participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you should possess at least 1 year of pediatric emergency experience, have completed required courses within 6 months of hire, and hold certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI).
