Job Responsibilities: As a Women's Health Care RN, your key responsibilities will include:
Working Conditions: The working conditions for this role may include exposure to infectious diseases, chemicals, and other hazards. You will be expected to wear personal protective equipment as necessary and follow infection control policies and procedures. The ability to lift with assistance up to 250 lbs is also required.
Education and Training: To be successful in this role, you must have earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university. Additionally, you will be required to complete Level I, Level II and fetal monitoring within 1 year of hire, and maintain current certification in Advanced Fetal Monitoring or AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
- Providing quality obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care in an environment that strives to meet patient needs on a holistic level.
- Incorporating emotional support and education with superior medical and nursing care to achieve patient well-being.
- Planning the patient's care on an individual basis, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems and attainable outcomes.
- Functioning independently with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to areas evidenced by adherence to policy, procedure and competency based assessment and no pattern or trend of problem.
