Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver immediate and specialized care to children facing acute illnesses or injuries in our dedicated pediatric emergency department.
- Assess conditions of pediatric patients, prioritize care based on severity of their conditions, and implement life-saving interventions.
- Collaborate closely with board-certified pediatric emergency room physicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and child life specialists to provide optimal care.
- Explain treatment plans and procedures to patients and their families, offering emotional support and reassurance.
- Maintain hospital and unit specific competencies.
Requirements and Benefits:
- Complete required courses within 6 months of hire: Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
