The work environment is a sleep center where communication in English both verbally and legibly is required. The ability to sit/stand/walk for up to ten hours a day is also necessary.

Position Summary
This position performs polysomnographic testing in our sleep center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients physically and psychologically for testing, and provide emotional support.
- Perform procedures according to Williamson Health and departmental standards.
- Document actions taken and patient response.
- Provide patient discharge instructions.
- Prepare completed tests for interpretation.
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment, notifying Clinical Coordinator/Maintenance of needed repairs and supply needs.
- Attend in-services and educational programs.
- Assist with new personnel orientation and training.
- Demonstrate responsibility for assigned communications or special assignments.
Requirements:
- Earned a Polysomnographic Technologist diploma or degree from a college or university.
- RPSGT certification or at least one year of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist experience.
- TN State License as a Polysomnographic Technologist.
- BLS certification.
