Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Responsibilities:
Promote resident hygiene and comfort
Distribute food and water and assist with feeding residents
Assist with repositioning and transferring residents
Ambulate and transport residents
Record and total fluid intake and output
Weigh residents
Document on flow sheets
Assist with admission, discharge, and postmortem care
Respond to call lights in a timely manner
Perform perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care
Report all observations and assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse
Take and record vital signs
Maintain resident units clean and in order
Skill and Experience Requirements:
Current NYS CNA Certification
Previous Long-Term Care experience preferred
