Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax returns for businesses, individuals, trusts, and estates.
Provide advisory services to clients, including tax planning strategies and compliance guidance.
Oversee and manage client bookkeeping processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Assist clients with payroll processing and related tax filings.
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Stay current with changes in federal, state, and local tax laws to ensure proper compliance and planning.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and excellent service delivery.
Required Qualifications
Active CPA license in good standing.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax and accounting work.
Experience working with:
Creative Solutions Suite (Thomson Reuters products such as UltraTax, Accounting CS, etc.).
QuickBooks (desktop and online versions).
Sage software.
Proficiency in tax preparation for businesses, individuals, and trusts/estates.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with tax planning and advisory services for small businesses.
Familiarity with advanced accounting software tools and integrations.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
