Willington Public Schools seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Custodian will ensure that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in all areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Carry out custodial duties adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies to ensure a safe environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger cleaning projects efficiently.
