WK Pierremont Health Center is a great place for both the new graduate and the experienced CRNA to practice!! It provides the new graduate with a wide range of Nurse Anesthesia experience, helping him or her to develop the skills necessary to not only practice, but to be more-than-competent in any situation that might arise in their career. WK Pierremont Health Center is also an excellent choice for the experienced CRNA-providing challenging and rewarding opportunities to increase proficiency, gain more knowledge and experience growth in their Nurse Anesthesia practice. The main hospital runs 9 ORs daily and 4 rooms are located in our state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center; The WK Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center. Case types vary from elective outpatient procedures to complex neurovascular, orthopedic, laparoscopic and vascular procedures. Supervising the group of CRNAs is a staff of 6 excellent Anesthesiologists who are willing to teach the new graduate and who will also allow the experienced CRNA the autonomy he or she deserves. New graduates at WK Pierremont Health Center will learn under an excellent staff of CRNAs and Anesthesiologists at a pace that is comfortable and safe and will find our surgical staff to be patient, readily accepting of their practice and very easy to work with during the transition to "experienced" CRNA.
