Your Role as a Staff Nurse:

1. Patient Care: Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients on the Medical-Surgical unit.
2. Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress.
3. Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
6. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
