What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operating Room Tech position at Willis Knighton Health?
Willis Knighton North is seeking a dedicated, certified surgical technologist to work seamlessly with our clinical and non-clinical staff in the operating room. The preferred candidate will have a positive attitude, exhibits enthusiasm, and have demonstrated a consistent and responsible work history. All applicants must be a graduate of an accredited program for surgical technologist. Call will be required with a 30 minute mandatory response time. Your job responsibilities will include but are not limited to; assisting all Surgical staff members, ensuring each patient receives optimal care, follow all the national patient safety goals, assist with case preparation, assist in draping patients, instrument counts, assuring all supplies are available and equipment is in proper working order prior to all procedures. An orientation will be provided based on your experience and level of comfort.
