What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN GI position at Willis Knighton Health?
Our GI Lab has 5 procedure rooms with 1:1 care and 13 recovery bays with 1:2 ratio. This position requires critical thinking skills, pre & post assessment, moderate sedation administration & physio control monitoring of patients intra procedure. Orientation & cross training in this unit is specific to each individual with experienced staff readily available for guidance. Experience in PACU or ICU is preferred. On-call hours required & location flexibility is a plus. Support staff is an intricate part of the team in this unit. ACLS is required, but can be obtained through our Career Institute.
