What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Wound Ostomy II (WO Board Certified) position at Willis Knighton Health?
We are seeking an RN for our WOC department. This individual must have strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Other qualities include excellent communication skills and educational abilities. You will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients with wounds, including pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers and other types of skin injuries. This role involves developing individualized care plans, educating patients and their families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote wound healing and prevent complications. You will also be involved in staff training. CWON, CWS, or WCC preferred.
