Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney at Willis, Willis & Rizzi Co., L.P.A. located in Akron, OH. The role provides the potential for involvement in all facets of litigation up to and including trial, post-trial motions, and appellate work. Daily responsibilities will typically include : attendance at court hearings, depositions, legal research, brief writing and motion practice, docket monitoring, discovery tracking and completion, client interaction, review of medical records and other records pertinent to each file.
Submission of writing samples is encouraged.
Qualifications
- Experience in Personal Injury and Insurance Law
- Actual litigation experience
- Legal Research skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
