The New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for a Dishwasher to support the Food Services Department. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,200 lawyers located in 15 offices in six countries.

The Dishwasher will assist in providing and maintaining sanitary conditions within the Food Service Department. Complete tasks in order to maintain high level of efficiency within the department, with a focus on high quality service. The successful candidate will be accurate, organized, consistent, on-time, efficient and works well with co-workers. Candidates must be available in-person Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils and dishes.
- Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize properly
- Clean, maintain and sanitize dish machine
- Maintain all food service areas and equipment in clean and sanitary conditions.
- Maintain inventory of all food service cleaning supplies; Communicate to supervisor inventory levels as necessary for restocking.
- Maintain clean work area by sweeping and mopping as needed and when appropriate.
- Clear areas of leftovers, discard disposables, return dishes to kitchen, and put away carts and equipment.
- Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
- Comply with new rules and/or regulations as they arise.
- Load and run dishwasher
- Empty trash and recycling regularly
- Report overtime as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a strong sense of attention to detail
- Sense of personal responsibility
- Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping and moving quickly
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work well in pressured, fast‑paced environment and maintain calm and accommodating demeanor.
ADA Requirements
- Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances
- Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
- Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals
- Ability to carry light [to moderate] objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance.
- Must be able to lift, carry and move objects [up to 15/20/25 lbs OR in excess of 25/30 lbs]

Pay Range
USD $36,400.00 - USD $36,400.00 /Yr.Pay Range Statement
The salary range for this role represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications and location.
