Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking an experienced Sr. Applications Integration Engineer to support the Enterprise Platform Group. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,200 lawyers located in 15 offices in six countries.
The Sr. Application Integration Engineer is a key member of the End User Computing group within the Information Technology department and reports to the Sr. Manager of Advanced Endpoint Engineering.
This role will be responsible for the design, deployment, maintenance, and support of the desktop infrastructure and administration of enterprise applications. Responsibilities
- Primary responsibilities include hands-on development, standardization, automation and management of all desktop Windows 10 and newer image deployments and updates in the VDI and physical desktop infrastructure.
- Experience in deploying, managing and troubleshooting Windows operating systems including application-level support.
- Administration of Active Directory Group policy including creating, editing, and evaluating GPOs that effect the desktop environment.
- Design and operate monitoring and log aggregation systems to improve visibility into the performance of the Windows platform, implement configuration as code to reduce operational overhead and technical inefficiencies.
- Automating solutions and changes for the desktop environment using scripting languages like Powershell to improve reliability.
- Package applications for automated deployment in Microsoft SCCM/Intune/Windows Autopilot.
- Serve as the final escalation point for End User Support for application packaging and OS-related issues.
- Candidate must be able to work as part of a team in supporting an enterprise level infrastructure.
- Provide support off-hours when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Deep expertise with Windows 10/11 and advanced troubleshooting tools in enterprise environments.
- Solid technical working knowledge of business applications and operating systems including Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 2021 , Microsoft 365, Google Chrome browser.
- Microsoft Office 2021 development skills and experience working with add-ins, toolbar customization, etc.
- Substantial in-depth knowledge and experience with legal applications, such as iManage Work 10; Litera Desktop suite including Litera Compare, Innova, and Contract Companion tools; IntApp Time; Adobe Acrobat DC.
- Substantial in-depth knowledge and experience with collaboration software in a virtual environment including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx and Jabber.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Management.
- Application packaging of various formats (EXE, MSI, MSIX).
- Experience managing and deploying devices with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra and Windows Autopilot and enforcing security policies through Azure CSP.
- Proficiency with PowerShell and SQL to create/maintain advanced scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiencies.
- Proven experience with endpoint deployments in a Zero Trust environment.
- Experience with virtualization platforms/technologies like VMWare ESXi and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops.
- Familiarity with profile management and personalization tools such as Ivanti AppSense, Microsoft FsLogix.
- Ability to solve problems via standard and non-standard methods.
- Ability to document processes and procedures appropriately.
- Organized and methodical testing skills.

Pay Range
USD $170,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.Pay Range Statement
The salary range for this role represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications and location.
