Willmar Electric is accepting applications for a Licensed Electrician Apprentice with two or more years of experience in the Lawton , Oklahoma area.

Wage: $16.00 to $24.00 an hour

Job Summary:

An electrical apprentice installs, upgrades, renovates, and completes other assigned electrical duties to produce the product requested by an owner or general contractor and under direction from a licensed Journeyman in an industrial setting.

Essential Functions:

• Installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.

• Measure, cut, and bend conduit.

• Trace out short circuits in wiring.

• Make minor electrical repairs.

• Maintain tools and equipment.

• Work with the Foreman to set daily goals.

• Performs work in accordance with the National Electrical Code in a workmanlike manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Hold and maintain the state apprentice license.

• Have OSHA10 certification before beginning work on a site or the pre-fabrication workshop.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Attend continuing education classes to maintain an apprentice license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enrollment in/completion of an electrical trade school program.

• Knowledge of hand/power tools, how to read meters, and reading (understanding of) blueprints.
